In 2015, Boehringer identified a clear and pressing need to accelerate management development for high-potential managers. They were looking for a program that would engage and motivate top talent to acquire broaden their perspectives and build global leadership competencies.


Boehringer and IESE kicked off a highly collaborative process based around the concept of a “learning journey.” Through coaching and addressing specific challenges, participants identified their personal strengths and weaknesses as a critical step towards developing the skills and confidence to transition to international leadership.


Now in its second year, Exposure accelerates global management development across Boehringer’s next-generation leaders all over the world. Open discussion of challlenges allows for cross-fertilization in business intelligence, driving the capacity to have constructive conversations in place of defensive monologues; as well as the abilty to speak clearly across cultural, social and technical boundaries.
